How Do You Feel Today?

Bright, I feel bright.
A source between my stomach and my lungs,
comes the light.
It’s there—
a bit warm,
yet not burning,
a bit windy,
but never torturing.
It makes me want
to stand ,to move,
to go, to do,
to make a clue.
But all so light—
yellow to white,
small but wide,
limitless, a little mess.
A mess to smile,
a mess that ignites like lights in my sky.
Like rising,
like risking.
And all of it leads back to the answer
for that one question—
the question of where,
and how you can
get it all like that,
every day, every time.
Chances to live,
choices to take,
even after every heartbreak.
To nowhere but here,
where the light never dims
and always beams.
To me, to here—
to the final source.
Where the light remembers
what my name is,
and where my source was.
